Telehealth is an online service via live video conferencing (think FaceTime or Skype). The therapy sessions are conducted using a video chat platform. June utilises a direct 1:1 interaction with the patient and/or patient’s family. In short, Telehealth sessions remain personalised to each patient, with advantages of saving your travelling time, no need to worry about finding a parking spot or parking fees or forgot to bring the relevant documents to your appointment. It also allow you to have the consultation with June at the environment where you are most familiar with.
The telehealth sessions run for a duration of 45 minutes for initial consultation and 30 minutes for follow up consultation. Telehealth visits are structured exactly the same as a face to face consultation. It allows June to obtain relevant medical history, diagnosis, review any relevant blood test result and conduct dietary assessment. Where June will then be able to provide tailored personal dietary advices and education to you.
Any patient have access to video platform via home tablet/computer/smartphone. Healthyfuture utilises Powerdiary for individual consultation and Google Meet for case conferencing with more than one participate to facilitate its sessions. Once you have received a text message or an email to confirm your appointment. A link for the telehealth will be sent to you.
The telehealth sessions cost the same as the regular consultation fee.
You can pay for these services via bank transfer, credit card over the phone. For NDIS clients, you can pay through NDIS or your plan manager.
